25 Comments Posted by Alejandro Reyes on October 14th, 2008 at 11:29 pmWhat a weekend! We just wrapped up the first ever christian internet marketing conference, the Illuminate Conference, and I gotta say it was such a blast.
The feedback has been tremendous from the speakers and guests, and folks are already ready for next year’s Illuminate Conference.
I got to finally meet some folks that I haven’t met yet, and reconnect with some of my closest friends online. One person said they, “felt like it was summer camp…and didn’t want it to end.” I felt the exact same way.
When you meet the right people and surround yourself with people that wanna invest into you, keep you accountable, and have your best interest in mind, it becomes easier for your business to start flourishing and your life is just that much better.
Next year’s Illuminate Conference will be in San Francisco again (voted by the guests & speakers) and we’re looking at sometime in July. Probably the 2nd or 3rd week in July.
I will be posting pictures and videos up very soon so be on the look out for that.
Make sure you’re at the next conference.

Alejandro - this weekend was AMAZING! I had so much fun, learned SO much, and am (as Paul put it already) PRODUCTIVE as I piece it all together. Looking forward to July, and seeing all the changes taking place both in my business and in the others who were at Illuminate.

I met new contacts, I’m talking with those contacts, I’m working on creating a new Blog with your boy Cody. How often do you get to go to an Internet Conference and Make money on top of it? That doesn’t always happen. I’m looking to do some JV’s…Eric Farwell said he’d help me with some of my stuff.
Joel Comm’s ideas and his True Life Story was worth the $197 entry fee by itself.
Like I said…I’m getting ready to get together 100 people to attend next year so you betta get ready Alejandro. I don’t care what people said before now—there straight crazy if they don’t think you’ve discovered something far more beneficial than the other conference holders.

Alejandro, you are really living the meaning of your name! Thank you for allowing yourself to be a vessel. Thank you for inviting me to be one of the speakers, and for the chance to connect with so many amazing entrepreneurs with a heart of gold.
The thing about conferences and live events is that you never know who you end up sitting next to, or impacting, or opening yourself to be impacted by… It’s like driving a car in the dark — you only see about 200 ft in front of you, but if you faithfully take the next step, the bridge always appears!

Hi Alejandro,
I’m not sure if hubby will be coming to California with me or not; if so, then chances are he would need to be entertaining our 3 children while I attend the conference. We have not decided yet if he will stay here in Missouri with the children; or we all fly out to CA and me attend the conference and try to squeeze in sight-seeing with the family as well.
It’s possible I could try and find someone to watch the children during the trip, and hubby could then come with me, but we’ll have to see.

Illuminate was the most awesome IM conference I have ever been to. The speakers and subject matter presented by them was awesome. The friendships that were made there are already blessing my life. I am so glad I got to be part of the first Illuminate and I am planning on being there in July again.
You did a great job of putting together people who want to honor Jesus in their marketing careers. Wow, so many people of integrity and there are more in the wings waiting for the second Illuminate.
